Accumulate a few hours of game play or successfully complete a Festival mode. Then, a note about a secret shop will be delivered. Go to the Shopping district, and stop the camera between the far left and middle buildings. Aim the pointer at the shop down the alleyway between both of them to access the secret shop.

When you get letters that say a character in a certain Dream Event is cheering for you, look for that specific character in the referenced Dream Event. Press Minus when you see them to unlock the corresponding VIP suit. The characters that have suits include Big and Birdo.

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding Dream Event:

Dream Alpine: Get a medal in the Alpine Skiing and Freestyle Skiing events. Alternately, reach Day 3 of Individual Festival mode or Day 4 of Team Festival mode.

Dream Snowboard Cross: Reach Day 16 of Individual Festival mode. Alternately, reach Day 12 of Team Festival mode.

Ace Pilot: Down at least five people individually in Dream Gliding.
All Flags: Pass through all the gates on the Alpine Skiing Giant Slalom.
Amy: Get first place in all events with Amy.
Armstrong: Get at least 20 points individually in Dream Snowball Fight.
Audience: Find each of the hidden special guests.
Big Air: Get a perfect balance score and a jump of 130m or more in the Large Hill (Individual or Team).
Big End: Score at least three points in a single end in Curling.
Blaze: Get first place in all events with Blaze.
Bowser Jr.: Get first place in all events with Bowser Jr.
Bowser: Get first place in all events with Bowser.
Cannon Shooter: Take at least five special shots in Dream Ice Hockey.
Collaborator: Play with all characters excluding Miis.
Combination: Get at least a 'Great' rank on all exchanges in the Speed Skating Short Track Relay.
Complete Medal: Get first place and gold medals in all events.
Cool Trick: Execute at least 15 tricks in the Snowboarding Halfpipe.
Daisy: Get first place in all events with Daisy.
Donkey Kong: Get first place in all events with Donkey Kong.
Downhill Racer: Perform at least five gate dashes in the Alpine Skiing Downhill.
Dream Alpine: Collect all blue coins in the Dream Alpine event.
Dream Bobsleigh: Collect all blue coins in the Dream Bobsleigh event.
Dream Short Track: Collect all blue coins in the Dream Short Track event.
Dream Ski Cross: Collect all blue coins in the Dream Ski Cross event.
Dream Ski Jumping: Collect all blue coins in the Dream Ski Jumping event.
Dream Snowboard Cross: Collect all blue coins in the Dream Snowboard Cross event.
Eggman: Get first place in all events with Eggman.
Entertainer: Perform at least ten tricks in Dream Ski Cross.
Festival Master Emblem (Individual): Successfully complete Individual Festival mode with at least 200 points.
Festival Master Emblem (Team): Successfully complete Team Festival mode with at least 150 points.
Fever Time: Get at least two bonus (3 star for each bonus) chances in Dream Ski Jumping.
Full Boost: Collect at least 100 colored balls and reach the goal in Dream Bobsleigh.
Full Play: Play all events.
Grind Master: Grind for at least 200m in Dream Snowboard Cross.
High-Speed: Exceed 100kmph in the Bobsleigh.
Hot Dog Skier: Hit all turn points on the Moguls.

Performer: Execute at least five tricks in Snowboard Cross.
Record Holder: Break the Olympic record and the pre-set best record in all events.
Reversal: Pass from fourth to first place in the Speed Skating Short Track 1000m.
Rich: Pass the 10,000 Star Token mark.
Rocket: Get a start dash in any event.
Route Master: Pass through at least ten gates and finishing in first place in Dream Alpine.

To unlock Silver The Hedgehog you must set aworld record in all games.

To unlock new circuits, you must beat a circuit. (Beat beginner's class and you unlock advanced class and beat advanced class to unlock master's class)

To unlock new events, you have to beat a circuitin Circuit Mode. (There are some circuits inmaster's class that you will not unlock anyevents in.)

To unlock emblems for characters, you must beatall the missions in Mission Mode for thatcharacter.

To unlock the full play emblem, unlock all theevents and play each event once or more.

To unlock the ping pong (table tennis) Emblem,you must win a game of ping pong (table tennis)and win 11-0.
